Our Story
In the sacred city of Ujjayini, just a short distance from the revered Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple, Madhav Seva Nyas was established with the noble purpose of preserving and promoting the timeless values of Sanatan Dharma and Indian culture. Guided by the eternal ideals of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The World is One Family) and “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah” (May All Be Happy), the Nyas has remained dedicated to selfless service and the welfare of society since its inception.
As part of its commitment to serving devotees, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) entrusted 13 bighas of land to Madhav Seva Nyas. Keeping the convenience of pilgrims as its highest priority, the Nyas generously donated a significant portion of this land to the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee, where it continues to be utilized for facilities and services that benefit millions of devotees visiting the holy shrine.
On the remaining land, Madhav Seva Nyas established the Shri Mahakaleshwar Bhakt Niwas—a well-planned and fully equipped accommodation facility located close to the temple. Built with the spirit of “Seva” (selfless service), the Bhakt Niwas provides devotees from every corner of the country with a clean, comfortable, and peaceful place to stay during their pilgrimage. The Nyas continues its mission of ensuring that every pilgrim experiences not only convenience but also the spiritual warmth and hospitality that reflect the sacred traditions of Ujjain.
